Horsemanship Skills are the foundation of success in any riding discipline. We believe in teaching and promoting "useful" horsemanship skills which are beneficial to all people, all horses and improve the relationship between horse and rider. Mark can teach you the concepts and application of proven techniques to improve your riding through better communication.

Confidence in ones self and in ones horse is the single most important aspect of effective training. Without it all efforts are futile. Misdirected confidence is dangerous. By learning to maintain a positive attitude in any situation and by being consistent, you will earn respect from your horse you never dreamed was possible. Learn the difference between confidence & poor Judgement.

Trust and Respect can only be developed through firm, fair consistency and it is a two way street. Everytime you lie to your horse, trust is eroded. Learn to be more consistent without becoming overbearing. By learning to ask with your body, what you think in your mind, you and your horse will better understand each other and the correct response will be the first response.

De-Spooking can be accomplished only through the trust and confidence built by mutual respect and teamwork. Learn to be confident about any scary situation.

A Solid Partnership based on all of the above principles is the ultimate goal of our clinics and lessons.
